Korelasi Pendidikan Orang Tua Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MTS N 2 Pasaman Barat

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much the level of parental education is related to student learning outcomes in class VII Aqidah Akhlak learning at MTsN 2 Pasaman Barat. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. Sampling used simple random sampling by taking 20% or 45 of the total population of 223 students. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique is a prerequisite analysis test using the normality test, linearity test and homogeneity test. Meanwhile, to test the hypothesis using correlation techniques and coefficient of determination. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between the level of parental education and student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTsN 2 West Pasaman. The contribution of the influence of parental education to students' Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes is 29.8%, while the remainder is influenced by other factors not discussed in this research. Based on the results of output calculations using SPSS 20, a person correlation (rcount) value of 0.546 was obtained. If you compare the rcount value with the rtable value, by taking a significance level of 5% (95% confidence level) or 0.05 with N= 45 and the degree of magnitude n= 2= 43 (45-2), then there is a result of rcount > rtable = 0.546 > 0.294. This shows that there is a correlation between parental education and student learning outcomes. With a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The form of this relationship is positive and if the correlation coefficient value is in accordance with the correlation interpretation value, then the level of relationship is categorized as quite strong, namely in the coefficient interval of 0.400-0.599. With these provisions, Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) is accepted and Ho (Nil Hypothesis) is rejected, which proves that there is a relationship between parental education and student learning outcomes in the subject of moral beliefs at MTsN 2 West Pasaman.
