Abstract
Poetry is a form of literary work that expresses the poet's thoughts and feelings imaginatively and is composed by concentrating all the power of language by concentrating its physical and mental form. All literary works are imaginative and the use of language in particular is very clearly visible in poetic works where writers try to improve the power of expression and at the same time the beauty of the language through processing language. The method used in analyzing the poem "Tentang Seseorang" by Rako Prijanto is a qualitative method. Qualitative is an approach or strategy used in research to understand and explain phenomena from a more descriptive and in-depth perspective.
