Evaluasi Program Pemeriksaan Gigi di TK Islam Terpadu Nurul Ilmi Medan

Abstract

This study evaluates the dental check-up program at TK Islam Terpadu Nurul Ilmi using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The program aims to improve the oral health of early childhood students through regular check-ups, education, and collaboration with Universitas Medan Area. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, revealing smooth program implementation with strong support from the school. The findings indicate increased children's awareness of dental health, supported by adequate facilities and the active roles of teachers and parents. However, the foundation's involvement in program development remains limited, and long-term impact evaluations have yet to be conducted. Recommendations include regular monitoring of children's dental health conditions, greater foundation involvement, and more comprehensive data recording. This study provides insights into the importance of collaboration in promoting children's dental health as part of a holistic early childhood educationapproach.
