Abstract

Social support plays a very important role for students who are victims of bullying at school. Bullying, which can be in the form of physical, verbal, or digital violence, is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on students' mental and social health. This study aims to examine the role of support from peers, teachers, and family in helping victims of bullying overcome the psychological and social impacts that arise. The findings of the study indicate that peer support can provide a sense of security and increase victims' self-confidence, while the role of teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment is very important to help victims overcome trauma. In addition, family support, through attention and affection, plays a role in increasing student resilience. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to explore the in-depth experiences of victims of bullying in various contexts, such as public schools, Islamic boarding schools, and digital media. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with participants selected by purposive sampling, and analyzed using coding and triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study indicate that a supportive social environment can reduce the negative psychological impact on victims of bullying, as well as increase their chances of recovering and returning to functioning socially and academically.
