Abstract


Conflict is a regular occurrence in interpersonal interactions that can have a detrimental effect on relationships. Conflict, on the other hand, can be turned into an opportunity to build connections if it is handled correctly through interpersonal communication. This article will look at the relationship between interpersonal communication and an individual's ability to resolve conflict, as well as how it affects the quality of friendship.This study employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey design. A total of 200 respondents, including students and professionals, were randomly chosen to complete a questionnaire designed to assess interpersonal communication skills, conflict frequency, and views of the quality of friendship ties. The questionnaire used a Likert scale to assess active listening, open communication, and empathy.
