Masuknya Agama Islam Pada Masa Awal di Indonesia

Abstract

This journal article aims to collect data and information related to the theory of the entry of Islam into Indonesia, Islamic educational institutions in the early days in Aceh Darussalam and Islamic educational figures in the early days in Aceh. This research is entirely library research, data is obtained from various physical and electronic book literature. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There are a number of theories that discuss the origins of Islam that developed in the archipelago, namely: Gujarat / India Theory, Meccan Tori, Persian Theory, and Chinese Theory. 2) It is believed that the form of teaching in the early days of Islamic education in Aceh was the form of Halaka or Zawiya and consisted of students or also called aneuk dayah and Teungku or teachers then the initial teaching method was memorization, then developed into discussion and debate. Educational institutions consist of Meunasah, Rangkang, Dayah, Dayah Teungku Chik and Jamiah Baitur Rahman. 3) Islamic education figures who were influential in the early days of Islamic education in Aceh included Hamzah Fansuri, Syamsuddin As-Sumatrani, Nuruddin Ar-Raniri, and Abdur Rauf al-Singkili.
